Why did you choose your undergraduate course?

I’ve always liked computing and really wanted to further my knowledge in that field. I like how technology is always changing so I thought the BSc Hons Computer Games Development degree would be a fast-paced course and industry to become involved in.

Describe your experience of studying at Ulster in three words

Chilled, fun and enjoyable.

How do you think studying at Ulster has prepared you for your future career?

I think it’s prepared me well. The course has given me a good working knowledge of computers and technology, which is going to be relevant and important in nearly any job. Placement opportunities give you the chance to work in a real, changing environment and lets you find out a bit more about what your future career could be like.

What one piece of advice would you give to someone considering applying to Ulster? 

My advice would be to pick something that’s right for you to study, not because your friends are doing it or because your parents want you to.

Would you recommend studying at Ulster and why?

Yes I would recommend it. Ulster University has a really friendly atmosphere and it’s always welcoming and comforting to be here. I think that’s the most important factor of somewhere you’re going to be spending so much time.
