Why did you choose to study Dietetics at Ulster University?
I chose to study at Ulster due to its reputation for excellence in teaching and research and the opportunity to be taught and learn from leading world experts in their fields.
What did you enjoy most about the course?
The flexibility to choose a variety of topics and develop my own interests and passion. The encouragement from staff to challenge our own ideas and to expand our knowledge base. I also made amazing friends for life!
How did you find the support of the staff during your time here?
The staff were very supportive and helped facilitate your own learning needs. Student support and library assistance were very beneficial and always approachable.
What one piece of advice would you give a new student starting this course?
Make sure and study something you are passionate about. Make the most of all the opportunities you will be offered and make the most of living in the beautiful north coast!
Where has your degree led you to, in your career?
My job title is Assistant Professor in Dietetics and Nutrition. My degree from Ulster has helped me to develop the core skills needed to become an effective dietitian in both a clinical and research setting.
